Rubber wood plantations are mostly found in southern and western Mindanao.

General

calamasi
Calamansi farms are most common in Oriental Mindoro. Example locations: location1, location2
marigold
Tree marigold / mexican sunflower (Tithonia diversifolia) can be recognized by the unique shape of the leaves, and it is commonly found in dry, mountainous areas in northern Luzon and central Mindanao.
NOTE: It is found in tropical and subtropical regions across the world, and not unique to the Philippines.
candletree
Candletree (Senna alata) is much more common in Palawan than in other islands. NOTE: This species is native to South America, and also not unique to the country.
alocasia
Alocasia can be found across the country, but its clusters are mainly found in Palawan.

Guardrails and Blocks

yellowposts
Guardrails with yellow posts are most common in Panay, Negros and Cebu. Usually, posts are square and thick, or round and thin.NOTE: This tip is somewhat unreliable, because these are occasionally found in other islands, and white or unpainted posts are also found in these three islands. Before using this tip, you had better look for other clues.
redblueblocks
Blocks painted red and blue are unique to the eastern part of Calabarzon.
trapezoid_shaped
Blocks with trapezoid shaped sides and a lot of pebbles inside of them are mostly found in the eastern part of Calabarzon.
small blocks
Small blocks (blocks with short height and width) are most commonly found in MIMAROPA, especially in Mindoro.
yellow edges
Blocks with yellow edges are almost exclusive to northern Cebu.
yellow black blocks
You can find yellow and black striped guardrails and blocks in the CAR and Cebu.
DPWH
DPWH(Department of Public Works and Highways) sets up unique yellow signboards in northeastern Leyte. They are usually found on large roads (yellow roads on the map) in this area.
samar yellow signs
Similar to ones in Leyte, more square signs with thinner letters can be found on the western coast of Samar.
KCC
These advertisements of KCC, the shopping mall located in Koronadal, General Santos and Zamboanga, are found on large roads around these cities. Formats can greatly vary, but you can always see the unique blue logo.
NOTE: KCC mall of Cotabato will open in April 2025, in Cotabato City. These advertisements may appear around the city in the coverage after 2025.

Poles and Signs

Colorful paints on the bottom of utility poles are mostly found in flat, populated areas in Luzon.
NOTE: White, yellow and black paintings are found across the country. Red, orange, pink, blue, green and other colors are almost unique to Luzon.
